The water service charges are for the villages provision of water services. This provision of services includes services from other village departments in support of the water department to furnish an adequate capacity of water supply, storage, major distribution, and materials for extending, connecting, expanding, or replacing of the municipal waterworks to serve the applicant’s lot, parcel, or tract of land.

• Connection fee: One-inch residential service: $3,500
• Connection fee: Greater than one-inch service: to be calculated by Water Department
• Late fee (past 20 days): 10% of billing amount
• Permit fee: $100
• New service inspection fee(s): $90
• Deposit for service: Two months of the residential water base rate
• Turn on and shut off service charge: $100
• New or replacement water meter and MDX charge: $450

Residential Water User Rates

• 2024 Monthly residential base rate $52.60 for up to 7,000 gallons
  • New rate reflects a 3.44% CPI increase from 2023 rate of $50.85
• 2024 Over allotment rate per 1K gallons $7.51

Non-Residential Water User Rates

• 2024 Monthly non-residential base rate $57.86 for up to 7,000 gallons of processing

• 2024 Over allotment non-resident rate per 1K gallons $8.27

Residential Wastewater User Rates

• 2024 Monthly residential base rate $42.08 for up to 7,000 gallons
  • ​​​​​​​New rate is the first sewer price increase since the system was purchased by the Village
  • New rate reflects a 20% increase from 2023 rate of $35
